Kemena Brooks

Kemena Brooks is an accomplished professional in real estate development with extensive experience in managing diverse projects across Chicago and the Southeast. Currently serving as Director of Development at The Community Builders, Inc. since July 2018, Kemena oversees a significant development pipeline, including a large-scale master plan redevelopment and various mixed-use and residential projects. Previously, in the role of Senior Project Manager, Kemena managed multiple redevelopment initiatives, including a 100-acre master planned community. Kemena's earlier experience includes senior development management at Laurel Street, where nearly 500 mixed-income units were developed, and a role at the Charlotte Housing Authority. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Urban Design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
