Leah van Tassel

Leah Van Tassel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2009, they began their professional journey at The Community Builders, Inc. Leah has held various roles within the organization, starting as an Admin/Benefits Assistant. Leah then progressed to become a Payroll Coordinator, followed by the role of Payroll & Benefits Administrator. In 2017, Leah took on the position of Payroll and Benefits Manager. Most recently, in March 2022, they became the Director of Benefits, Payroll, and Wellness at the same company. Prior to their time at The Community Builders, Inc., Leah worked as a Teaching Assistant at Simmons College in 2008.

Leah Van Tassel has a Master's degree in Gender & Cultural Studies from Simmons University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they studied Italian Literature and Art History at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, although the specific duration of their studies is unknown. Leah also holds a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Studio Art from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. Leah completed their high school education at Red Land High School from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their academic qualifications, Leah has obtained certifications such as "Creating Positive Conversations with Challenging Customers" from LinkedIn and "ADP Certified Payroll Specialist" from ADP, Inc.
