Ronald Hinkel

Ronald Hinkel has extensive experience in cybersecurity and law enforcement, currently serving as the Director of the Cyber Security Institute at the Community College of Baltimore County since January 2014. Prior to this role, Ronald held several positions at CSC from April 2002 to December 2012, including Incident Response Coordinator, Program Director, and Instructor/Tech Lead at the Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy. Ronald also worked as the Help Desk Lead at Carroll County Public Library from July 1998 to April 2002 and spent 29 years with the Maryland State Police, culminating as the Lt. of the Central Region Commander for the Bureau of Drug and Criminal Enforcement.
