Sarah Dupere Ostro is an experienced professional with a strong background in community development, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as VP of Operational Strategies and previously as VP and Chief of Staff at The Community Preservation Corporation, Sarah has demonstrated expertise in creating impactful narratives, managing communications, and supporting executive leadership teams. Roles at Worcester Common Ground and Iowa Economic Development Authority showcase a skill set in economic development project management, grant-writing, and strategic consulting. Academic qualifications include two Master's degrees from Clark University in Community Development and Planning as well as Business Administration focused on Social Change, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Vassar College.

The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) was launched in 1974 through a joint agreement between the City of New York and its leading commercial banks to restore and rebuild New York’s aging neighborhoods. In the more than 40 years since, we have evolved and expanded our reach to become a consistent source of capital to underserved housing markets throughout New York City and in communities across the state.
