Amanda Grant

Director, Design, Orlando at The Companies of Nassal

As Nassal’s Director of Design, Amanda applies her expert knowledge of design, materials, construction, and CAD to create the shop documents that are used to fabricate Nassal’s projects. Amanda is responsible for directing, managing, and leading Nassal’s team of dedicated designers across multiple disciplines and projects to ensure timely delivery and coordination with Nassal’s fabrication shop, design partners, and clients. Design plays a critical role in the Fabrication process, and Amanda works with her team to create the build-ready files for Shop using a variety of different software and technology best fitting the application.

Amanda’s vast knowledge of Nassal’s most complex projects in both scenic and rockwork fabrication, and her 10+ years of design and engineering experience in themed entertainment for Nassal, make her a vital member of the team and leader in her craft and in her field. She has managed the design process from a technical shop drawing and installs review to ensuring that the design makes sense and provides enough information to create buildable shop drawings and construction techniques. Nassal’s design team works closely with the base building architectural designers to ensure design is coordinated with base building architectural finishes, along with MEP elements required for the structure and/or scenic elements. Nassal’s designers also work closely with the structural engineers, project managers, fabricators, installers, and clients to achieve the final design intent while maintaining structural integrity and guest durability.

She holds an Associate of Science in Interior Design Technology from Seminole Community College, Sanford, FL.
