Sam Pugh currently serves as the Group Operational Excellence Director at The Compleat Food Group since September 2025. Previously, Sam held the position of Global Operational Excellence Leader at Nutreco from November 2022 to August 2025. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Greencore as Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from September 2014 to November 2022, where leadership of the Manufacturing Excellence programme was showcased. Sam's early career at Royal Mail spanned nearly nine years in various roles, including Head of World Class Manufacturing and Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager, achieving considerable improvements in maintenance and safety. Educational background includes a 2:1 degree in Biology from the University of Hull, completed between 1998 and 2001.
