Steve Conafay is the founder and principal of The Conafay Group, which offers policy and scientific expertise in the biotechnology industry, achieving over $1B in funding. Steve also serves as D.C. Counsel for the Antimicrobials Working Group, managing advocacy and outreach for the antimicrobials industry. Conafay is a member of the board for NAVREF. Steve previously held executive roles at Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America and Glaxo, and was a partner at Jones, Day, Reavis, Pogue. Steve was also the chief executive officer at Shandwick and served in various roles at Pfizer.
Steve Conafay completed their undergraduate studies from Kenyon College in Economics from 1962 to 1966. Steve then proceeded to attain their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from American University and successfully completed it in 1972.
