Cynthia McIntyre

Director of Communications at The Concord Consortium

Cynthia McIntyre is Director of Communications. She has worked at the Concord Consortium since 1997 on a variety of projects. In her early days, she worked on one of the first online teacher professional development courses, which led to the development of online “metacourses” (online courses about online courses) for the Virtual High School. She co-authored a short book on the subject, too. Cynthia is the managing editor of the biannual newsletter @Concord and edits nearly every grant proposal written at the Concord Consortium. She holds a B.A. in Religion and Biochemistry from Bowdoin College and a Master of Theological Studies degree from Harvard Divinity School.
