Dr Shruti Holey

Lead of the Leadership Training Project and Member of the Advisory Board at THE CONNECTICUT HOSPICE INC

Dr. Shruti Holey has a diverse range of work experience. In 2019, they founded The Nirbhay Foundation. Since 2021, they have held multiple roles at Yale University, including Graduate Student Assistant at Student Accessibility Services and Horstmann Scholar. Dr Shruti has also served as an Editor for the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law, and Ethics. In 2022, Dr. Holey worked as a Student Fellow at the Yale Institute for Global Health and a Student Fellow at Yale Law School Solomon Centre. Additionally, they were an Intern at 500 Women Scientists and a Project Assistant at Yale New Haven Health. From June to August 2022, they worked as an Administrative Intern at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Furthermore, in 2021, Dr. Holey served as the Lead of the Leadership Training Project and a Member of the Advisory Board at Connecticut Hospice. Throughout their career, Dr. Shruti Holey has gained valuable experience and knowledge in various healthcare and law-related roles.

Dr. Shruti Holey is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Healthcare Management at Yale School of Public Health. Additionally, they are enrolled in the Healthcare Management program at Yale School of Management, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In 2022, they completed a Certificate Program in Management Consulting at Harvard Extension School, specializing in management consulting. Prior to their current studies, Dr. Holey earned a BDS degree in Dentistry from Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth between 2014 and 2019. In terms of their earlier education, Dr. Holey obtained a High School Diploma from Army Public School (APS), followed by a Middle School Diploma from St. Mary's School, Pune. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Shruti Holey has also obtained certifications in various areas. These certifications include: "Emerging Respiratory Viruses including Covid 19: methods of detection prevention response & control" from the World Health Organization, "New Beginnings India" from the United Nations Volunteers, and "Specialized Module on Human Health and Climate Change" from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
