Rachel Doody, M.S., LPC has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Residential Supervisor at Wellmore Behavioral Health, managing the operations of a therapeutic group home for adolescent males. During this time, they also facilitated crisis intervention training for staff. In 2013, they joined The Connection, Inc. as a Program Manager, overseeing a transitional supervised housing program for individuals with mental illness. Rachel was responsible for managing staff, establishing program policies, and developing relationships with community providers. In 2016, they were promoted to the role of Director, where they oversaw multiple adult residential behavioral health programs, including those serving individuals with high risk mental health needs and forensic histories. Rachel successfully developed programs to meet the needs of clients, staff, funders, and the agency.

Rachel Doody, M.S., LPC obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Counseling & Human Services and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Counseling from Post University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University. In August 2019, they obtained a license as a Licensed Professional Counselor from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

Rachel Doody also holds several additional certifications, including Critical Incident Stress Management Responder from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc., and Emergency Certificate Issuer Certification from the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Rachel is also certified as a Handle With Care- Instructor and a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention- Instructor by HWC Behavior Management and Cornell University, respectively.
