John S. Gilbert

EVP & CFO at The Conservation Fund

John is responsible for the financial management and strategy of The Conservation Fund while helping to sustain and accelerate its dual mission of environmental protection and economic growth. In 1985, he joined JPMorgan’s investment banking division and most recently was a Managing Director and Senior Country Officer in London until 2014. In that capacity, he was responsible for investment banking activities in the Benelux and Nordic regions of Europe and for developing and implementing regional growth strategies across JPMorgan’s other global lines of business such as asset management, private banking, and treasury services.

John was previously Vice President for Business Strategy at the Partnership for Public Service, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to improving the effectiveness of government and the strength of its human capital. He graduated from Duke University with a degree in Public Policy Studies.
