Michelle Donelan

Rt Hon Michelle Donelan served as the Former Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology from February 2023 to July 2024, and has been a Member of Parliament since May 2015. Prior to this, Donelan held multiple significant positions including Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport from June 2009 to February 2023, and Minister of State for Higher and Further Education, among other roles within the Department for Education, where Donelan uniquely managed three Ministerial roles simultaneously. Additionally, Donelan served as a Government Whip at HM Treasury and has experience in marketing communications from roles at WWE and Sky. Donelan holds a BA(Hons) in History and Politics from the University of York.
