Neil O'Brien

Neil O'Brien is a seasoned political professional currently serving as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Harborough, Oadby and Wigston since May 2017. O'Brien has held key roles as a Special Advisor at both 10 Downing Street and HM Treasury, contributing to significant government initiatives from August 2016 to the present and December 2012 to July 2016, respectively. O'Brien also has experience as the Director of Policy Exchange and Open Europe, serving from September 2008 to December 2012 and May 2005 to September 2008, respectively. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford (1997-2000) and education at Greenhead College in Huddersfield (1995-1997).
