Director Of Strategy For The Leader Of The Opposition at The Conservative Party

Rachel Maclean, Baroness Maclean of Redditch, currently serves as a Member of the House of Lords since March 2025 and as the Director of Strategy for the Leader of the Opposition with the Conservative Party since December 2024. In addition, Rachel chairs Renewal 2030, a campaign promoting Kemi Badenoch for the Conservative Party leadership, and previously held the role of Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Redditch and the Villages. Notable previous positions include Member of Parliament for Redditch and the Villages, Minister of State for Housing and Planning, and various ministerial roles across the UK Home Office, Ministry of Justice, and Department for Transport. Rachel's educational background includes a degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford, an Executive Program for Growth Businesses from Stanford University, and an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology from Aston University.
