Hideo Takemoto

Hideo Takemoto is an accomplished retail manager with extensive experience in visual sales and team leadership. Currently serving as the Store Manager for Visual Sales at The Container Store since December 2017, Hideo previously held senior management roles at USC Bookstores from August 2006 to October 2017, where significant achievements included overseeing substantial store expansions and driving impressive sales growth. Hideo’s career began with positions at Lakeshore Learning Materials and The Disney Store, focusing on customer service, merchandising, and team development. Educated at California State University, Fullerton, with a degree in Japanese Language and Literature, Hideo is also completing coursework for an Executive Master of Leadership at USC Sol Price School of Public Policy.
