Amy Taylor Ugwuh has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Amy is currently a Founding Member at Sweater Cashmere Fund, a venture capital fund under Sweater Ventures. In their role, they actively manage a portfolio of private venture capital investments to provide long-term capital appreciation. Prior to this, Amy worked as a Business Analyst and Developer at The Contentment Foundation since November 2019. Amy also served as the Director of Operations at Aris MD Inc. starting from May 2018. Before transitioning into the business world, Amy worked as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones from August 2017 to May 2018. Additionally, they have experience in the education sector, having worked as a Classroom Teacher at Round Rock ISD from January 2013 to June 2017, and at Garland ISD from August 2012 to December 2012. Amy began their career in education as a Classroom Teacher in Killeen ISD, where they worked from September 2008 to June 2012, and as a Substitute Teacher from April 2008 to September 2008. Prior to their teaching career, Amy also held positions as a Housing Supervisor at Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley from September 2007 to February 2008, and as a Building Supervisor at YMCA from August 2006 to December 2007.

Amy Taylor Ugwuh completed their Bachelor of Science in Education, with a focus on Broadfield Social Sciences, at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma in General Studies from Appleton West High School, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Amy has obtained various certifications. Amy received their Texas Teaching License from the Texas Education Agency in August 2008 and their Wisconsin Teaching License from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in July 2007. Amy also acquired the Series 7 and Series 66 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in September and October 2017, respectively. Finally, they obtained the General Lines Agent certification from the Texas Department of Insurance in April 2018.
