Mariam Shittu

Mariam Shittu is an experienced professional in support planning and health coaching, currently working at The Coordinating Center since 2017. In the role of Support Planning, Mariam conducts user acceptance testing to validate that developed systems meet the needs of Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) clients, documents compliant files, advocates for individuals with disabilities, and develops person-centered Plans of Service while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. As a Health Coach, Mariam has educated over 200 clients on preventative health management, collaborated with healthcare teams for smooth transitions post-discharge, and monitored client progress. Previously, Mariam served as an EPIC Credential Trainer at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, completing all credentialing prerequisites and training healthcare professionals during system implementations. Mariam holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Morgan State University.
