The Copper Mark
Hillary W. Amster currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Assurance and Impact at The Copper Mark since May 2020. Previously, Hillary held various leadership roles at the Responsible Business Alliance from October 2015 to May 2020, including Director of Audit Operations and Senior Program Manager. Other notable positions include Manager and Counsel at Fontheim International, International Law Fellow at the American Society of International Law, and Legislative Advocate for The AHA Foundation, where advocacy efforts focused on combating female genital mutilation. Hillary has also been involved in several legal and human rights initiatives, including establishing the Women in International Law Mentoring Program and founding the Global Justice Advocacy Program. Hillary earned a J.D. in International Human Rights and Rule of Law Development from the University of San Francisco School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Italian Studies from Tufts University.
