Mark Stewart

Mark Stewart has worked at The Cordish Companies since 2023 as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to that, they worked at Eckert Seamans from 2009 to 2023 as an Attorney, specializing in civil and administrative litigation, regulatory advice, transactional representations, and government affairs. Mark particularly focused on the gaming industry, representing gaming companies, Native American Indian tribes, and gaming industry participants in various states. Mark'swork encompassed a wide range of issues including licensure and regulatory compliance, litigation, legislative support, financing, and land development.

Mark Stewart completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Penn State University from 1988 to 1992. Afterward, they attended Cornell Law School from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Doctor of Law degree (JD). Following their education, Mark obtained certifications from the Maryland State Board of Law Examiners for the Maryland Bar in 1996 and from the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners for the Pennsylvania Bar in 1995.
