Brenda Marcroft is an experienced retail professional with a strong background in store development and management. Currently serving as Store Development Director at The Cotswold Company since May 2020, Brenda is responsible for determining locations, selecting sites, and delivering stores that align with the brand. Prior to this role, Brenda held the position of Head of Retail at JD Williams (N Brown) from March 2016 to July 2019, leading the stores field team and overseeing operations, visual merchandising, marketing, and format development for multiple brands. Brenda also worked as Director at The Cheshire Confectionery Company LTD, where responsibilities included strategy, brand development, and marketing for a start-up specializing in personalized products and corporate gifts. Earlier experience as Retail and Property Director at The Original Factory Shop involved managing over 200 stores and directly reporting to the CEO while successfully developing a significant number of new store formats. Brenda’s educational background includes attendance at La Sagesse Grammar School.
