Yanpei Cassie Huang

Yanpei Cassie Huang currently serves as an Angel Investor at The Council and is part of the Investment Team for the Penn Wharton Innovation Fund at Venture Lab. Previously, Yanpei held the position of Principal of M&A at Forum Brands, where responsibilities included scaling the platform from Series A to B through acquisitions of consumer brands. Yanpei's background also includes experience as a Private Equity Associate at Cranemere, focusing on industrial and healthcare investments, and as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley in the Global Industrials Group. An early career included an internship with the U.S. House of Representatives under Congressman Peter DeFazio. Yanpei holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a B.S. in International Political Economy from Georgetown University, complemented by an exchange program at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
