Lisa Kinney

Lisa Kinney is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Supervisory Attorney - Advisor at the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) since December 2021. Prior to this role, Lisa held the position of Director of Communications at the Virginia Department of Corrections from August 2012 to December 2021, and served as the Director of Public Relations at Drive West Communications from December 2009 to August 2012. Lisa's experience also includes roles as Manager of Public Relations at the Houston Independent School District and Media Relations Specialist at the Texas Civil Rights Project. Early in the career, Lisa gained legal experience as a Law Clerk at the Indiana Civil Liberties Union and a Legal Intern at the Indiana Civil Liberties Union, in addition to working as a Reporter for Dow Jones Newswires from 1998 to 2001. Lisa holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Germanic Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, with a minor in Economics.
