Matt Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Matt currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Bowery Farming, where they focus on sustainable and pesticide-free indoor vertical farming. Prior to this role, Matt was an Advising Partner at The CPG Collective, specializing in sales and marketing solutions for emerging consumer packaged goods brands. Matt also served as the Chief Growth Officer at Tattooed Chef, President of Beecher's Handmade Cheese, and held various senior leadership roles at Dean Foods, including Senior Vice President Frozen Business Unit and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Additionally, Matt has experience in the beverage industry, having worked at Odwalla, Pepsi Beverages Company, and The Pepsi Bottling Group. Matt began their career at E. & J. Gallo Winery, where they held sales and management positions. Matt has also served as a Board Member at Organic Valley Fresh.

Matt Williams completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications at Penn State University from 1990 to 1994. In 2001 and 2002, they attended USC Marshall School of Business, focusing on Food Industry Management.
