The Crucible
Alexis Pavlantos is an accomplished jeweler and educator with extensive experience in the arts. Currently, Alexis operates a jewelry business, Transmogrify by Alexis Pavlantos, while also serving as a teacher at The Crucible and the Academy of Art University since 2015 and 2012, respectively. Additionally, Alexis held roles as Lead Jewelry and Metal Arts Technician and Lead Sculpture Technician at Autodesk from December 2014 to January 2018. Alexis earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Sculpture from The University of New Mexico between 2008 and 2011.
The Crucible
The Crucible is a nonprofit educational facility that fosters a collaboration of Arts, Industry and Community. Through training in the fine and industrial arts, The Crucible promotes creative expression, reuse of materials, and innovative design while serving as an accessible arts venue for the general public.
