Drew Prober

Drew Prober is an experienced educator and carpenter with a robust background in construction and woodworking. Prober serves as a Construction Teacher at the Oakland Unified School District and has held various teaching roles within the district, including Carpentry Instructor. Prober has also been a faculty member at The Crucible since September 2015. As a carpenter, Prober has operated Drew Prober Woodwork since January 2006 and previously worked with Eby Construction, Incorporated, and Fox Natural Building. Prober holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Oberlin College and a Teaching Credential in Career and Technical Education from UC Berkeley Extension.
