The Crucible
Mary Albert serves as the Studio Manager at New Classic Pilates since August 2023. With a commitment to community service, Mary has been a volunteer advocate for Alameda County CASA, representing the best interests of children in the dependency court system since August 2021. Additionally, Mary volunteers as a lab monitor at The Crucible, overseeing glass fusing activities. As an artist at Glass-Vox/Voxwilder, Mary specializes in creating functional glass art and also works as a voice artist, providing voice-over narratives. In the film industry, Mary has contributed as an associate producer for "Diani & Devine Meet the Apocalypse" and has been involved in production for "A Good Day to Die" since 2013. Previously, Mary served as a design consultant at Arhaus for a brief period in 2017. Mary holds a BA in Political Science and History from UC Santa Barbara and has further education from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and Voice Media/Susan and Friends Casting.

Through training in the fine and industrial arts, The Crucible promotes creative expression, reuse of materials, and innovative design while serving as an accessible arts venue for the general public.
