Michael James

Michael James has extensive experience in theater and arts management, currently serving as the Associate Director for Broadway at The Rose since August 2019 and as a Teaching Artist and House Manager at Coterie Theatre since August 2017. Additional roles include Stage Manager at Savannah College of Art and Design, and Assistant Stage Manager at Theatre In The Park, both held since June 2015. Michael has also directed and choreographed at The Culture House, worked as a Youth Fitness Instructor at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City, and contributed as a Production Assistant at Coterie Theatre. Previously, a Stage Manager at Olathe Civic Theatre Association and a Shift Leader at Paciugo Gelato & Caffè, Michael's education includes studying at Savannah College of Art and Design and Johnson County Community College.
