Björn Boos

Björn Boos has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Björn is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at The Customization Group since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President Finance at Ströer SE & Co. KGaA from 2014 to 2021. Björn served as Geschäftsführer at SMD Rechtegesellschaft mbH from September 2017 to November 2020. Before that, they were the Hauptabteilungsleiter Finanzen at Ströer Media Deutschland GmbH from March 2010 to December 2013. Björn has also worked at EY as a Wirtschaftsprüfer (Senior Manager / Prokurist) from September 2002 to February 2010 and at Arthur Andersen as a Wirtschaftsprüfung / Steuerberater from September 1998 to September 2002. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Praktikant Finanzen / Controlling at Borussia VfL 1900 Mönchengladbach GmbH in 1998, and as a Studentenförderkreis at Deutsche Bank from August 1992 to September 1996. Björn also had a brief stint as a Praktikant in der Wirtschaftsprüfung at Arthur Andersen from January 1996 to March 1996. Björn began their professional journey as a Bankkaufmann at Deutsche Bank from August 1990 to June 1992.

Björn Boos obtained a Bachelor's degree in Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Cologne in 1998, with a focus on BWL (Finanzierungslehre, Wirtschaftsprüfung, Steuerrecht). In 1995-1996, they also studied International Management at HEC Paris. Additionally, Björn Boos has certifications as a Bankkaufmann (1992), Steuerberater (2002), and Wirtschaftsprüfer (2006).
