Mike Vanderwyst

Mike Vanderwyst has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Mike started their career in 2005 as the Owner and Executive Producer at Unveiled Pictures. In 2008, they worked as a Project Producer at Outside da Box before becoming the Television Manager at Holy Apostles Communications from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, Vanderwyst joined The CW Network as a Room Producer and Machine Room Operator. Mike then worked their way up to become a Writer/Producer/Editor and then a Senior Producer. In December 2017, they were promoted to Associate Creative Director at The CW Network, a position they currently hold. In June 2022, Vanderwyst embarked on a new role as the Marketing Creative Director and Writer-Producer-Editor for non-TV clients, where they conceptualize, develops, and executes cross-platform marketing creative for indie films, documentaries, and live events.

Mike Vanderwyst attended Columbia College Chicago from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film & Video, specializing in Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
