Ben Thompson MEd, MBA, CIPP/E, CIPM is an experienced professional specializing in data protection and information security. Currently serving as a freelance trainer and consultant, as well as Data Protection Officer for The Cyber Helpline since April 2023, Ben has held various leadership roles, including Chair of Governors at Southborough Lane Primary School and co-founder and Data Protection Officer at Teachers Love Stationery.Club Ltd. With a robust career in education, Ben has also contributed as Headteacher at TLAC and Practitioner Inspector for Ofsted. Ben's academic achievements include a Doctor of Education from King's College London and an MBA from The Open University, among other qualifications in leadership and management.
