Paul Baird - Fciis

Paul Baird - FCIIS is a seasoned cyber security professional currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security Operations & Engineering at Advanced since January 2024. In addition, Paul contributes as an Ambassador for The Cyber Helpline, a charity dedicated to supporting victims of cybercrime. Previously, Paul held the position of Field Chief Technical Security Officer at Qualys, gaining insights into the vendor market, and was the Global Head of Cyber Security Operations at Jaguar Land Rover, where a strategic transition to a hybrid security operation model was implemented. Other roles include IT Security Operations Manager at Bovis Homes, where Paul established the company's first cyber security program, and various positions in IT security and infrastructure roles across multiple organizations since 2000. Paul holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from Perth College, Scotland.
