Benjamin Yelin serves as the Co Host of the Caveat Podcast at The CyberWire since October 2019 and holds the position of Program Director for Public Policy & External Affairs at the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security since July 2013. In this role, Benjamin teaches adjunct courses for both Masters of Science in Law and JD students, developed a module on National Security and the Fourth Amendment, and manages various programs related to externs and research assistants. Additionally, Benjamin has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law since October 2015, teaching a course focused on the National Security Agency. Prior experience includes legal externships with the U.S. House of Representatives and the University of Maryland Center for Health & Homeland Security, as well as legislative and research roles. Benjamin obtained a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Government/Economics from Skidmore College.
