Imay Sugumaran

Imay Sugumaran is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in customer experience and product design. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer at Flight Centre Travel Group and co-founder of Homera, Imay has a strong focus on enhancing user experiences in various domains. As the Founder and Chief Experience Designer at the dspace, Imay leads design strategy, vision, and systems. Previous roles include Design Lead at Telstra, where leadership of a design team contributed to the development of enterprise platforms, and Senior Manager of CX Design at nbn™, focusing on transforming customer service. Additional experience includes mentoring startups at Fishburners, advising on CX at i-Mmerce, and founding SmartStatements, a fintech startup aimed at democratizing financial knowledge. Imay holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from S P Jain School of Global Management and an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics from St Peter's University.
