Ava Inesta

Ava Inesta is an experienced sports professional currently serving as a Team Reporter for UConn Football since April 2023, where interviews with Head Coach Jim Mora Jr. are a key responsibility. In addition, Ava holds the position of Team Photographer for Stars of Storrs, documenting events and managing social media content while also capturing material for the D’Amelio Family brand. As a Student Equipment Manager for UConn Basketball, responsibilities include the maintenance and distribution of apparel and equipment. Ava also contributes as Assistant Sports Director for University of Connecticut Student Television, reporting on various athletic teams and engaging in content creation. As a Staff Writer for The Daily Campus, coverage of Division I athletic teams includes recaps and previews of games. Previous experience includes an internship at the Bruce Beck Sports Broadcasting Camp and serving as Head Manager for Trumbull High School's Boys Basketball program. Ava is pursuing a degree at the University of Connecticut, expected to graduate in 2026, following graduation from Trumbull High School in 2022.
