Meilin Wang

Meilin Wang is a designer and graphic illustrator at The Daily Illini since October 2022. Additionally, Meilin serves as a research assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Information Sciences, working on IS 389 Independent Study since January 2023. Previously, Meilin was a peer mentor for the iSchool Ambassadors at the College of Fine + Applied Arts at Illinois from August 2022 to December 2022. Meilin is pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Cognitive Science and Information at the University of Michigan from August 2024 to May 2026, having completed a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences at the iSchool at Illinois from August 2021 to May 2023, and attended Indiana University Bloomington from August 2020 to May 2021.
