Since 1871, The Daily Illini has been a mainstay on the University of Illinois campus and has grown into one of the country’s largest student-run newspapers. Distributed free throughout Champaign-Urbana, The Daily Illini provides the campus community with its number one source for news, sports coverage, commentary and public opinion. The Daily Illini publishes twice per week in print and daily online.

Additionally, a number of topical special editions — including our New Student Edition, Ebert Film Festival Guide, and semi-annual career and housing guides — round out our coverage of the University community.
