Jack Hogan

Jack Hogan is a government affairs reporter for The Daily Record, where coverage includes Maryland's state government and elections since March 2023. Prior experience includes reporting on county and state government for the Frederick News-Post and covering the Maryland General Assembly session for Capital News Service. Earlier roles involved national political reporting for The Diamondback and an internship with Capital Gazette Communications, focusing on community issues. Additionally, Jack Hogan has experience in student lending and local reporting. An alumnus of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Hogan also studied Spanish and globalization at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
