Elizabeth Wakefield

Elizabeth Wakefield is currently working as a City & State Desk Staff Writer at The Daily Tar Heel since January 2023. Prior to this role, Elizabeth served as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Illahee from July 2021 to July 2023. Elizabeth is pursuing their education at UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media since October 2023 and previously studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Elizabeth completed their International Baccalaureate at Page High School and earned their High School Diploma. Elizabeth's educational journey began at Canterbury School in Greensboro.
