Lauren Zola

Lauren Zola is an experienced journalist currently working as a Reporter for The Daily Tar Heel since January 2023. Lauren has interned with GrepBeat, covering tech startups in the Triangle area of North Carolina, during both May to August 2023 and September to November 2024. In addition to this, Lauren served as a Reporting Intern at The Well News from June to August 2024 and as a Community Outreach Coordinator for the UNC Dive In Club from September 2022 to December 2023. Lauren also has experience as an Audio Journalist with Carolina Connection for a brief period in August 2023. Lauren is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies and Spanish at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with an expected graduation date in May 2025.
