Richard Tan

Richard Tan is an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Statistics. Currently serving as a Staff Writer for The Daily Tar Heel since August 2022, Richard has prior experience in finance through an interbank finance role at Bank of Communications Co., Ltd., where responsibilities included client assistance and risk-management analysis of interbank lending. Richard also gained customer service experience as a Server and Kitchen Staff member at Chick-fil-A Restaurants from June 2021 to February 2022. Educational background includes a High School Diploma from Panther Creek High School and earlier attendance at Davis Drive Middle School.
