Will Lingo

Will Lingo is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in editorial leadership and operations. Currently serving as Executive Director at The Daily Tar Heel since July 2024, Lingo has also been a Partner at Helium Agency since January 2018. Previously, Lingo was the Publisher at Baseball America from October 2014 to December 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing business and editorial operations, enhancing revenue through initiatives like the Baseball America Awards Gala, and expanding the organization’s digital presence. Lingo's tenure at Baseball America began in 1994, progressing through roles such as Director of Editorial and Operations and Editor in Chief, culminating in a deep expertise in content creation across multiple platforms. Lingo's career began as a reporter at the Winston-Salem Journal from 1989 to 1994. Lingo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the UNC School of Media and Journalism.
