Derric Hicks

Derric Hicks has over fifteen years of experience in the banking industry. Derric began their career as a business relationship manager and soon became an assistant vice president and branch retail executive. In these positions, Derric was responsible for overseeing the growth of a $20,000,000 lending portfolio, as well as developing and controlling sales and service programs. Derric was also instrumental in resolving customer complaints and submitting applications to credit analysts for verification and recommendation.

In 2010, Derric joined BBVA Compass as a business relationship manager. In this role, they obtained and compiled copies of loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements and other financial information. Derric also met with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and answer questions about the process. Derric's ability to analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations led to him being named one of the company's top performers.

Derric is currently a board member at The DEC Network. In this role, they are responsible for helping the organization achieve its mission of connecting people with the resources they need to build better lives.

Derric Hicks has a type of Banking Leadership and Management from SW Graduate School of Banking, a Masters in Business Administration from University of Phoenix, and a BS in Health Information Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
