Doug Pearce

Doug Pearce is currently the Business Development Manager at The DEC Network. Doug previously worked as the Corporate Relationship Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star from February 2014 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for planning and implementing corporate fundraising strategies, spearheading cultivation and retention efforts for a portfolio of over 50 corporate partners, and fostering a relationship-centric culture that valued creativity in building partnerships and leveraging resources to facilitate organizational objectives. Doug was also responsible for driving financial sustainability through corporate sponsorship opportunities, working closely with all 3 Regional Boards, and collaborating with the board members, partners, and agency development team to ensure effective sustainability and growth. Doug was successful in designing a Corporate Funding program that re-engaged lapsed companies and increased company commitments through consistent and thoughtful moves management. Some of their notable achievements include leading corporate funding increases - increasing yearly revenue from individual donors by 48% in 2017 and raising over $792,000 in 2018, a 19% increase over 2017 - and receiving the Bernon Award of Excellence in 2017 from their agency.

Doug Pearce has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of North Florida and is currently doing postgraduate work towards an MBA at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
