Ben Torres

Ben Torres is a seasoned photographer with extensive experience in various publications. Since 2008, Torres has been a contract photographer for The Dallas Morning News, capturing assignments across all newspaper sections and contributing to online content. Concurrently, Torres works with North Texas Catholic Magazine and Texas Catholic Newspaper, focusing on religious editorial and feature photography. Prior experience includes serving as a staff photographer at A. H. Belo, where responsibilities included daily assignments and multimedia projects, and roles at The Prospector at the University of Texas at El Paso, providing both photography and photo editing. Early career experience includes internships with E W Scripps, specializing in still photography and multimedia projects. Torres holds a Bachelor's degree in Print Media and Philosophy from The University of Texas at El Paso.
