Perry Aston

Perry Aston serves as the Command Information Section Chief for the United States Air Force, providing advisory support on command issues impacting the base community while producing a wide range of public affairs products. Previously, Perry held positions including Acting Superintendent for the 48th Fighter Wing Public Affairs and NCOIC of AIRMAN Magazine, where responsibilities included capturing, editing, and publishing media for the Department of Defense and overseeing teams in strategic communications. Additional experience includes freelance photography for WUSA 9 and a history of documenting military operations in roles such as Aerial Combat Photojournalist. Perry's educational background includes ongoing studies in Strategic Communication at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and prior certifications in Military Visual Journalism and Basic Still Photography.
