Kai Teoh

Kai Teoh is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in data journalism and interactive news design. Currently serving as the Data & Interactive News Editor at The Dallas Morning News since November 2022, Kai leads a team responsible for graphics, news apps, web tools, and data reporting. Previous roles include Technical & Data Manager for the Newsday Google Innovation Project and Data Journalist at Newsday Media Group, where responsibilities encompassed data analysis and the development of interactive projects. Kai's earlier experience includes positions as News App Developer at The Spokesman-Review and various development roles at Gannett's St. Cloud Times Media. With a background in political economy and print journalism from St. Cloud State University, Kai has also operated as a freelance photographer and holds academic credentials in mass communication.
