Amanda Otley

Amanda Otley is a skilled data scientist with diverse experience in the field of data analysis and research. Currently employed at The Data City since June 2021, Amanda specializes in matching emerging research to commercial challenges and has contributed to the development of the social media analysis tool "Whisper." Prior roles include a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Stockholm Environment Institute and a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds, where Amanda earned a PhD in Geographical Information Science. Amanda's early career includes positions as a Data Scientist at ResearchBods and a Data Analyst at Bloom Agency, complemented by leadership roles at the Leeds Data Science Society.
