Sonia Kang

Sonia Kang is an experienced data professional currently serving as the President of The Data Science Union since April 2023, where also holds the titles of Director of Marketing and Data Analyst. Previously, Sonia completed an ADP internship for GRS Data Science Solutions at Liberty Mutual Insurance and was a Data Teach Member with DataRes at UCLA. An internship as a Sales Data Analyst and Applications Engineer at COMSOL, Inc. involved utilizing Excel, SQL, and 4D technologies for data analysis, as well as creating an online training course with COMSOL software. Sonia is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Data Science at UCLA, expected to graduate in June 2025, following the attainment of a GED from Westborough High School in May 2022.
