Santiago García

Chief Operating Officer. Table Olives Division at DCOOP

Santiago García has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Santiago started their career as a Quality Technician at CITAGRO, where they gained knowledge and skills in quality control. Santiago then moved on to work for CRR Genil-Cabra as an Advice Office Responsible, where they took on engineering responsibilities. Santiago then joined HOJIBLANCA GROUP as a Quality Technician, where they oversaw quality and food safety in the olive oil packaging facilities. Santiago also collaborated with various departments in managing technical data and product samples. Santiago later joined Dcoop, first as a Quality Industrial Manager, overseeing the packaging facility in Monturque and training staff in quality and food safety. Santiago then became the Quality Operations Coordinator, responsible for managing operations, coordinating with partner companies, and interacting with customers and authorities. Currently, Santiago holds the position of Chief Operating Officer of the table olives division at Dcoop, where they are responsible for coordinating departments and leading modernization and improvement projects.

Santiago García obtained a degree in Agronomist Engineering from the Universidad de Córdoba between 1999 and 2005. In 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Horticultural Business Management program at IFAPA. Santiago then completed a Superior Technician in Labour Risk Prevention at the Universidad de Córdoba in 2007-2008. In order to further enhance their professional skills, Santiago attended the San Telmo Business School and completed a Directive Improvement Program from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in ISE II of Trinity College London, specializing in English, during the academic year 2015-2016 at Trinity College London.
