Dean Barlow

Dean Barlow has a significant amount of experience in various roles within the manufacturing industry. From 1996 to 1999, they worked as Group Quality and Laboratory Manager at Brown & Sharpe PMI Ltd. In 1999, Barlow joined Denby Pottery Company Ltd as Compliance & Technical Services Manager, where they remained until 2014. During their time at Denby Pottery, Barlow held various roles, including Head of Operations and QHSE, Head of Denby Manufacturing, Group Quality & Regulatory, and Head of Operations and Group QHSE. Their responsibilities encompassed manufacturing, new product development, engineering, environmental compliance, quality, product safety, and regulatory issues. Barlow also managed a large team of direct shop-floor workers and indirect staff. In 2017, they became the Operations Director at THE DENBY POTTERY COMPANY LIMITED.

Dean Barlow completed their A Levels in Mathematics, Geography, and History at Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth College in Leicester from 1983 to 1985. Later, from 2003 to 2006, they pursued a Diploma in Natural Sciences with a field of study in Geology/Earth Science at The Open University. Apart from their academic achievements, Dean also obtained additional certifications including a NEBOSH Certificate from NEBOSH in January 2009 and a CQI Diploma from CQI in August 1997.
